Job Description

The HRBP will focus all efforts and strategies toward improving the overall performance of the LWD while ensuring the consistent application of LWD policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state law. Provide HR due diligence during acquisitions and lead a future team of HR professionals.

 

This is a remote position however preference will be given to candidates that reside within our current footprint - Virgnia, North Carolina, and South Carolina

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for managing future HR Business Partners


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as an HR consultant for LWD practices. Acts as a funnel for identifying optimal HR solutions to challenges within assigned practices to simplify the delivery of HR services, including HR administration, total rewards, training and development.


Drive and lead HR initiatives and address any change management challenges.


Working in conjunction with multiple management team departments and leadership to support short and long-term strategies and drives key initiatives to promote and achieve a culture of performance excellence.


Drive employee engagement action planning with all Practice group(s) and Doctor Partners.


Works with the Practice Manager(s) and Doctor Partners to actively address employee performance deficiencies through timely and efficient performance management.


Supports and administers employee relations programs and practices to address and resolve employee concerns. To include effectively assisting and training in the onboarding of new team members and the effective transition of exiting team members.


Interprets and administers human resources policies. Continually assesses external Human Resources “best practices” to ensure that LWD practices are kept abreast of current practice and informed of new developments.

 

Maintains current understanding of federal and local laws and regulations relative to human resource administration and advises senior management regarding compliance responsibilities.


Address employee questions at a high-level regarding benefits and direct employees to HR specialists as necessary.


Coordinates and supports various training and leadership development programs with their practice groups.


Acquisition Support:
• Play a key role in the HR due diligence process during dental practice acquisitions.
• Develop and implement integration plans for acquired practices, ensuring a smooth transition for employees.
• Manage employee transitions and retention during and after acquisitions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Experience working in or with dental practices is highly desirable.
• Minimum BS/BA required, preferably in Human Resources Management or related field
• SHPR or PHR certification
• Strong emphasis on employee relations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities required Proficiency with Microsoft software
• Demonstrated ability handling sensitive, confidential information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate and interact with all levels within and outside of LWD as necessary
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up; and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience in HR, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
• Experience supporting or managing HR aspects of acquisitions is a significant asset.
• Ability to think strategically and develop HR plans that align with business objectives.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Ability to travel in territory up to 75% of the time

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Dayforce a plus
